This shot brings good memories. I took it while on a walk at my favorite nature reserve, after noticing movement in the undergrowth. I could see this mouse in among the plants but it didn't come out from hiding until I had waited for a bit, then it climbed up and chewed off this seed. I took serveral photographs however this is the only one in sharp focus as it was moving so quickly. Its shots like these that make me love nature photography so much . Next aim is to get a photograph of wild otters wish me luck!
I have read a bit and come to conclusion this is in fact a wood mouse.
Thanks! Well it was pure luck really, I was on a walk at a nature reserve and heard a noise in the brambles at the side of the footpath. I waited a minute and spotted the mouse hiding after a while it climbed up onto the plant in my photo to take the flower thing, and I had a 300x lens for this shot was probs about 1m away xD
